On this blog you are free to discuss the issues and topics being posted with freedom. I do not expect a utopian online society, nor should anyone else. Debates may get heated and tensions may rise, but if you all treat each other with respect and understanding, then maybe we can make this a place we all can enjoy.
DECORUM
There is a zero-tolerance policy on harassment, bullying, doxxing, hate speech, or any other inappropriate behavior deemed disruptive to this blog community. If you are found to have engaged in any of the conduct previously mentioned, you will be banned from the site and your comments will be removed.
FLAGGING BEHAVIOR
If you feel you are experiencing harassing behavior, you may submit a complaint to admin with a link to the alleged comment(s).
APPEALS PROCESS
If you believe you have been banned unjustly, you may submit an appeal statement to admin for a review. There are no guarantees that a ban will be lifted.

The news travels fast and we must try and keep up with it.
RESEARCH
Use multiple sources of information to get as many sides of the story as possible. It is not always a bad thing to read the opposing viewpoints. It actually benefits you to see what people who believe the opposite of what you believe to get a better understanding of the whole debate.
ANALYZE
Make sure your sources are credible. There is a lot of junk out there and most of it is meant to evoke an emotional response from the reader. By checking that your source is linking external sources to their page and sourcing their writing, it should be easy to determine credibility.
DISCUSS
Engage in a friendly conversation with someone about the topic. What do you agree or disagree on. Can you explain your point of view without raising your voice or talking over someone? Can you come away from a conversation seeing things from the other sides point of view?
